We didn't start by building a product.

VerterAI was born from a hands-on engagement with a fast-growing e-commerce brand. That experience shaped how we think about automation, how we work with clients, and what effective AI automation means in a support context.

The founding engagement

Our first client was a diet and nutrition brand with over $10M in annual revenue and thousands of highly active customers generating a constant stream of support tickets, including order questions, subscription changes, cancellations, and product advice.

Their support team was talented but overwhelmed. They needed automation that understood their specific products, their subscription model, their tone of voice, and their edge cases, not a generic bot that would confuse customers with wrong answers.

We integrated deeply with their CRM, their e-commerce platform, and their internal tooling. We built three distinct automation layers: standard support resolution, proactive outreach to customers showing churn signals, and upsell automations for high-intent moments.
